EVO Japan 2023 is this Weekend!

EVO, the world's largest fighting game tournament, usually takes place in Las Vegas every August. However, its sister event, EVO Japan, kicks off the year with an exciting showcase of its own. Although slightly smaller, with seven games compared to Vegas' eight, EVO Japan offers a unique lineup that includes titles like GranBlue Fantasy Versus and Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown, not seen at EVO Vegas.

Additionally, with Street Fighter 6's release in June, EVO Japan will be the last EVO event to feature Street Fighter 5 before it's replaced later in the year by 6. Here's the EVO Vegas game lineup:
