Key announcements for EVO 2024 also include:
- A larger venue for an improved attendee experience, featuring a vendor village, artist alley, and an arcade stick museum.
- The biggest free-play arcade and BYOC section ever, alongside a new art gallery celebrating fighting game history.
- An enhanced merchandise range and a bigger cosplay contest with special judges.
- All main tournament finals will happen on the Main Stage, with one badge covering all events.
The lineup includes eight fighting games, with newcomers like "Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising" and "TEKKEN 8," plus returning favorites such as "Street Fighter 6". "Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike" also returns, marking its seventh appearance.
Finalists compete for a share of a $30,000 minimum prize pool per game.
